The Introductory Session “The On-Ramp to ITAC5: Getting Ready to Get onto the ITAC5 Highway”
  • Introduction of ITAC by Eric Booth(ITAC Co-founder) and Jean Taylor(Lincoln Center Education) get to know colleagues, and look into the ITAC5 themes in advance. 

Opening Ceremony
  • Opening Ceremony features keynote speakers from all over the world and Korean performers.

  • The presentations and workshops of “Unlearning” will lead you to re-imagine arts education and your work in it with new practices, perspectives and entrepreneurial ideas. Teaching artists bring their best practices to ITAC5 to share and discuss.

  • Artists who work in participatory settings constantly provoke new perspectives, ask critical, sometimes challenging questions, and raise contemporary issues. What is the role of a teaching artist and arts now, in this era of discriminations and hatred, conflicts and confrontations, anxiety, helplessness and fear?

Registration Fee

$200

If you are a freelance artist, a student, or an individual who is impacted economically by COVID-19, you are eligible for the special price($50). Same benefits as regular-price delegates.

Free

ITAC5, for the first time, allows free access to some of its programs as part of Korea’s arts and cultural education support policy. These spectators may view selected programs only and may have limitation on realtime interactions.

*The registration fee has been much lowered than in the past taking into account the fact that the conference has moved online, and the worldwide economic impact caused by COVID-19. The collected registration fees will support teaching artists around the world.
